Tomorrow’s conditions will be a result of today’s choices. If we believe in our capacity for change, if we trust ourselves to grow, if we have faith in our ability to evolve, we can make choices that can make it happen. If we do not think we can accomplish those things, we will be resigned to make tomorrow just like today.

Change is not inevitable. We can remain exactly where we are. After all, we are entirely worthy of love, right here and now. If we stay right in this place, we will remain worthy of that love, both from ourselves and from others. Is that what we want, though? Have we accomplished all we seek? Have we already grown into the version of ourselves we wish to be? If we live out the remainder of our lives exactly as we are right now, will we have fulfilled our potential?

Of all the things that limit us – our genetics, or effort, our skill, our circumstances, our luck – doubt has the greatest impact. If we can believe in our capacity for greatness, we can realize so much more of it. If we doubt our own potential, we are bound to make choices to protect ourselves from what we fear to be certain failure.

Step into your better self today. Do so boldly. Do so with the belief that where you are today is not where you need to remain. Cast aside doubt and replace it with a vision of the best of you.
