All the greatness that can be found in the universe can be found in us. The building blocks of excellence – discipline, grace, reflection, and resilience – are right here inside each of us. There is nothing special inside the beings of the most successful people that doesn’t exist inside everyone else. The most successful people cultivate those skills and expose them to the world.

We are made up of simple raw materials. There is that one periodic table and elements join each other as common compounds. The materials of the least successful people and the geniuses, even of the stars and the trees, are not all that different.

How can we structure our lives to take full advantage of our tools? How can we sharpen the transcendent skills that will build a better version of us? How can we create an environment that will bring clarity to the fact that we are made up of the same stuff as the stars?

There is no need to wish we were anything different than what we are. We have everything we need to make our dreams come true. Let’s work to make the most of ourselves. Let’s move upward toward our capacity. Let’s believe in our ability to achieve greatness. Let’s do all that, while keeping our hearts open to grace when we stumble, knowing we have the stuff in us to rise again.
