We have a vision of the best version of ourselves. That vision, while ever-evolving, is authentic and sincere. There is an awesome simplicity that comes with aligning our choices with that vision, with doing all we can to live in that image.

What drives us away from that simple life? All the complexity of our lives. Maybe our discipline faulters, and we answer a temporary impulse that conflicts with our ideals. Maybe we lack the belief in ourselves to follow through on our vision. Maybe the attraction is too great to conform with societal norms. Whatever it is that is causing us to stray from our path, one simple choice can lead us back, and it is a choice firmly rooted in self love.

Our greatest and happiest moments are going to be found in simplicity and sincerity. The lies we tell ourselves and others to justify our choices that do not align with our vision will never make our lives more comfortable in the end.

Anyone who truly loves you wants you to live the life you envision for yourself. They want you to be authentic in your choices and true to your dreams. Sincere love is not transactional, nor is it conditional. Live in the image of the best version of yourself. Make choices that honor that image. Make your life simple and sincere.
