September 30, 2025- Choose Growth

What greater wealth is there than to own your life and to spend it on growing? Every living thing must grow. It can’t stand still. It must grow or perish.

We are living, breathing organisms. We are, therefore, in a constant state of flux. We are not the same in any two consecutive moments. Whether we embrace change or not, we cannot avoid it.

If we are going to change, why not do so intentionally? Why not take control of the entire process by forming a vision and seeing it through? We do not have to live our lives in a series of reactionary moments to deal with the always-evolving world around us. Instead, we can proactively decide how we want to show up for others, and how we need to show up for ourselves, and plan our own changes accordingly.

We don’t get to opt out of change. It is inevitable. So why not choose growth? The moment we stop growing is the moment we start dying. Neither of those processes are predetermined. We have the agency to switch on growth whenever we choose. Just because we’re young doesn’t mean we’re growing and just because many decades are behind us doesn’t mean we have to start dying.

Take control of your life. Plan your growth and make it happen. Lean into change and use it to create a better version of you with each passing day.
